Libido BoosterA new Austrian study has found that a bit of sunshine might do wonders for a man’s sex life and act as a libido booster. A study in Clinical Endocrinology journal of 2,299 men found that testosterone is boosted by vitamin D. Low testosterone levels can reduce a man’s libido as well as impact energy levels.

Across the study, testosterone and vitamin D levels appeared to peak in the month of August, and drop off in the winter, reaching their lowest levels in March. The researchers found an hour of exposure to the sun’s rays can increase libido by around 69%. Thankfully for those who live in less sunnier climates, experts say the same effect in increasing libido can be obtained from eating meat and oily fish – just make sure that you hit the breath mints before you hit the sack!
