It is probably fair to say that a lot of men are not clear what Erectile Dysfunction is and what it means. The simplest definition of Erectile Dysfunction is, ‘the inability of a man to maintain a strong enough erection, long enough to have sex‘. For some men though it is not as straightforward as this.

First of all, occasional impotence is completely normal and every man will probably experience this at some point in their lives.

Erectile Dysfunction is often defined as:

An inability to maintain an erection

The tendency to maintain an erection only briefly

The inability to have an erection consistently

When any of the above happen with increasing frequency and if you’ve noticed that your erections are not as hard as they used to be then you should recognise this as something which needs to be addressed. Also it is important to recognise that Erection problems are not just a matter of getting older. You can prevent and treat most erection problems when you understand what they are, how they are caused and what treatments are available.

Erectile Dysfunction is something that can be overcome with the proper information. Whether it is embarrassment or simply feeling like there’s nothing that can be done, a lot of men choose to ignore it. Choosing to do something about it is a courageous decision and getting help is the first step in managing the issue and getting the sex life you deserve.

For those people who did Latin at school you may remember the phrase, ‘Caveat Emptor‘ which translates to ‘Let the buyer beware‘. In any commercial transaction, if a deal looks too good to be true, then it usually is.

It has come to our attention that there is a new website marketing and selling Maxidus below the market rate. Here at Herbal Boost we work very closely with our importer and supplier and we can confidently state that this cheap Maxidus is not genuine and is counterfeit. This poses all sort of health risks to the unsuspecting buyer. The website in question is based in the Southern Hemisphere but has a ‘.co.uk’ domain. giving the impression that it is a UK business. We suspect the counterfeit Maxidus is being sourced and manufactured in China.

At Herbal Boost we are not so worried about the commercial impact to our business but the potential health risk this poses to the unsuspecting UK buyer. We have considered giving details of the website in question, but have decided to share this information only on request – please send us a note via the contact from.

Tongkat Ali Research by Dr Ismail Tambi Human Reproduction Specialist Center, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Dr Ismail Tambi, is one of the foremost experts on reproductive and sexual health in all of Southeast Asia. He is also the leading medical expert on the effects of standardized Tongkat Ali extract on human subjects.

In his Tongkat Ali Research, Dr Tamby found that men who consume Tongkat Ali extract significantly increases their testosterone production, renewed their sexual vitality and heightened their sexual desire. He also observed that Tongkat Ali can also be used to boost libido in women as well, as testosterone is essential to a woman’s sexual desire.

Dr. Tambi’s research involved thirty adult males of various ages, after measuring their testosterone levels, he gave them 100 mg of standardized tongkat ali extract daily.

The testosterone levels of all the subjects rose, from somewhat to a lot, depending on age. Dr Tamby’s study resulted in a 91% improvement in libido, a reported 73% improvement in sexual function, and an 82% psychological improvement relative to sex among the men who participated in the study.

His research shows that Tongkat Ali can re-elevate the level of this important sex hormone safely. In this regard, it proves to be a true sexual fountain of youth.

Maxidus contains 154mg of Eurycoma Longifolia (popularly known as Tongkat Ali in Malaysia and Indonesia) as part of a synergistic blend of herbs to boost libido.

How to Boost Libido and Increase Testosterone Naturally

Testosterone in men is arguably the single most important factor in improved sexual performance but diminishes with age as the production of this hormone decreases

We tend to associate hormonal changes during mid life with Women but Men can also experience something similar. Men lose testosterone at a rate of approximately 1% a year which may not sound like very much, but over a period of time, has a profound effect on the body

Symptons associated with Low Testosterone can include

low libido

erectile dysfunction

depression

Reduction of Lean Muscle

Weight gain

excessive sweating

Lower bone density

Tiredness and Fatigue

More difficulty with mental concentration

There are other ways to bosst testosterone and libido, besides hormone replacement therapy – Here are some suggestions to raise tesosterone levels naturally and boost libido

Change in Diet – Eating the right kinds of food can have a beneficial effect.

*Eating the right kinds of food can help you raise your testosterone levels. For instance proteins in eggs and whey can help increase the level of testosterone.
* Consuming more vegetables (such as broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage) and fruits can also help boost testosterone levels by reducing fat content in your body. These reduce estrogen that inhibit testosterone production
* Eating meat can also boost testosterone production. This is because meat contains zinc which helps boost the production of testosterone. In fact, zinc from animal protein is readily absorbed by your body but even having a zinc supplement daily will also help the body in processing proteins and carbohydrates to assist in producing testosterone.
* Include healthy monounsaturated fats in your diet. Nuts and beans are very effective as they provide your body with essential fatty acids that are crucial for testosterone production.

Exercise

Exercise daily. This helps the adrenal glands produce testosterone. Weight bearing exercises are an excellent way to help increase the levels of testosterone in your body. You should concentrate on training large muscle groups (compound exercises) to get the maximum effect on your testosterone levels.

The good news is that you don’t need to exercise for long to recieve the benefits. In fact it is important to limit your workout to 45-60 minutes per session. This is because after an hour of strenuous exercise your body begins producing the stress hormone Cortisol which inhibits and diminishes testosterone production.

Reduce Alcohol

Increasing your testosterone levels are actually very common-sense approaches to health and wellness. One way of increasing your levels is to limit the amount of alcohol you consume. Consuming alcohol makes your body slow down its production of testosterone and other hormones because it is busy processing the alcohol to purge your system

Sleep for at least 8 hours a day

Lack of sleep not only affects your hormonal cycle but also builds stress. This has a negative impact on testosterone production. Adequate sleep is a natural testosterone booster and can help elevate the production of this male hormone.

Reduce Stress

Stress is one of the major factors that can lead to low testosterone production. You can reduce stress with the help of some relaxation techniques like Yoga, meditation etc.,

Leading a healthier, stress-free lifestyle and incorporating the above suggestions will contribute to testosterone production and help boost libido

Among other things, moderate beer drinkers can benefit from a healthy dose of vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. In addition, the beverage has also been shown to increase libido.

During studies carried out at The Beer Academy, located in London, researchers found that beer is one of the healthiest alcoholic drinks available, when consumed in moderation. This will undoubtedly make many beer fans happy.

Please note that the key message is, ‘in moderation‘, particularly if you are taking Maxidus. Maxidus is excellent but it will not help you increase libido if you’ve already drunk yourself into oblivion. Besides this, what woman would appreciate the advances of a fumbling drunk – not exactly romantic is it?

Cambodia has enjoyed a successful spider-food trade since the 70’s, but it’s only now that confused Westerners are availing themselves of the opportunity to join the friendly locals on spider-hunting tours and try the snacks (either in drink form or fried).

Actually the above title is stating the obvious so what we meant to say was that older ‘IRONMEN’ risk losing their Libido. With the masses of middle-aged folk being attracted to endurance sports they may be in for a surprise: over-training can easily occur and can cause excessive fatigue, reduced sleep, interrupted concentration and of course loss of libido.

Triathlon clubs are booming, and other endurance events are growing in popularity -Yet a physical exercise specialist warns that it is “not unusual” for competitors under elite level to push themselves too hard, creating health issues for themselves in the process.

“If they have a job as well, they are at risk of burning themselves out and over-training,” Professor Hamlin said, after giving a talk on the subject yesterday to the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in Christchurch. “Many athletes don’t sense it – they think, ‘I didn’t do very well today; I must go harder’, when in fact it could have the opposite effect in the bedroom

“But with over-training you release hormones like cortisol that do the opposite – they break down muscle tissue and break down the enzymes that are important in performance. Like everything in life it pays to moderate your efforts with plenty of rest between activity.

For years now educators (not sure who these people are) have claimed that Marijuana can reduce sex drive. Recent further exploration around the research has revealed one 40-year-old report that claims marijuana reduces testosterone levels by 50%. This chemical change was assumed to impact users’ libidos as this hormone is essential in triggering sexual arousal for men and women.

Another study published in the Journal of Sex Research found mixed reactions among the interviewed marijuana users regarding the drug’s impact on their libidos:

over two-thirds reported increased sexual pleasure and satisfaction with marijuana use. About half of both sexes also reported increased sexual desire while using marijuana. Emotional closeness and physical enjoyment of snuggling were also enhanced

Other studies have reported similar feedback with half claiming marijuana increased their libidos, reduced inhibitions, boosted touch sensitivity, and enhanced erotic pleasure. Those that disagreed mentioned the drug made them so introspective that they became disconnected them from their partner.

As with many things in life the conclusion seems to be that marijuana offers a different experience for each individualal person (perhaps like alcohol). THC (the active ingredient in marijuana) is unique among drugs as it has consistently antithetical effects on different users’ sex lives. Just like certain fetishes, some find marijuana enhances sex while others say the opposite.
